Equine Therapy & Services

Here at Believe the Journey Horse Services we focus on allowing others to venture into the horse world to learn the peacefulness and journeys that horses can bring to your life from guided trail rides, camping, and lessons. We also offer services that are needed to the horse community such as training, hauling, leasing, and boarding. Most of the horses used in my program were rescues and have been given a second chance. Our services

Guided Trail Rides (Closed June-August)

** Closed June- August ** Guided trail rides through the beautiful Blackwater Forest.
Offering for beginners and first time customers: 1 hour and 2 hour packages
Advanced riders:
2-4 hour package
Monthly ride packages available as well
Rides will be back to normal in September
All rides are by reservation.

Seasonal Camping

1-2 night Camping trips with the horses available now
Future services will be overnight packing trips through the forest.
All camping must be reserved 4-6 weeks in advance.

I have feared riding in an arena again. Even with a horse I trust. At a young age I learned on an Arabian, who really was not a beginner horse and she taught me to fear horses. I got over it eventually, and was even pretty successful in later shows, but I avoided arena riding until today. It's no longer a place of fear for me. I can't thank you and your amazing horses enough Candice Christie De Luna. It felt so good to get back out there again.

Had a great ride with Believe The Journey Horse Services LLC today, best way to close out the work week! Didn't rain a drop and was a bit cooler. All the horses and riders did great.

The cutie I rode is named Sunny and he's known as the "caboose" but he was a real trailmaster today!

In 2020, while sewing masks and watching HeartLand, I asked God for “that ranch life”. Meeting Candice Christie was a humongous gift from Him, opening the door to my dreams.

An unexpected Divine appointment When I booked a horseback trail riding trip for my birthday, I knew I was drawn to the horse girl’s vibe. When she told me she recently quit her day job in order to pursue her heart’s desire and helping people grow with horses, I knew I was onto something good. We got started on the trail and I quickly noticed Candace did an excellent job of pairing each human to the correct horse. Each of us began bonding with our horse and it was noticeable. We all dropped into a comfort and ease that can only be described as magical 🦄 Candace and her friends are so amazing and facilitated a HEALING 🦋 experience of growth and opportunity for us. I did my best to explain to her how magical of a horse whisperer she is.....many of her horses are rescues and rehabilitations that previous owners thought would never amount to anything. Not only is Candace helping people learn about horses....she is also helping horses! All I can say is....I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business!
